By Jenny Melzer. Published Aug 8, 2021. After siding with the Templars, Dragon Age: Inquisition's hero uncovers corruption within their ranks that can be traced all the way to the Elder One. Dragon Age has long focused on the rift between Mages and Templars, and by the start of Inquisition, war had broken out between the two factions
Something else to consider is which option makes more sense for the Inquisitor. Leliana and Cassandra both seem to think that the Mages are more likely to be able to help close the rift than the Templars. Cullen disagrees, but he’s heavily biased by his experience as a templar, so I’m more inclined to seek out the Mages’ help.
Fantasy. Elemena is the grand cleric of Ferelden during the Fifth Blight. Grand Cleric Bronach was her predecessor. According to a conversation between Revered Mother Perpetua and Sister Theohild, the Grand Cleric had already lost her hearing twenty years before the events of the Blight. "> The Landsmeet.
For the templar in Dragon Age: Origins, see Bran (templar). “A dangerous thing, taking sides. I avoid it wherever possible.” Bran Cavin is the administrative assistant and chief adviser to Marlowe Dumar responsible for managing Kirkwall's bureaucratic establishment. Bran was born to the Cavin family, a "not-quite noble" family from Ansburg. He was trained in the best Rivaini academies and
Cullen swallows and hides his hands behind his back. "Tremors, shaking hands is usually the first sign, accompanied by splitting headaches. The templar might get a fever and sweat a lot. Nightmares. Then, if things turn bad, comes the mental decay. Some templars forget their language, lose their memories or they hallucinate." Merrill nods.
Siding with the templars will allow to recruit Cole first then recruit Dorian at Skyhold. Siding with mages will get you Dorian first and Cole later. Also the antagonist changes, Samson if you side with mages and Calpernia if you side with the templars, and of course the missions related to them are different. havok0159 • 8 yr. ago.
Inquisitor Maxwell Trevelyan (born 9:15 Dragon), known to many Thedosians as the "Herald of Andraste", is the protagonist of Dragon Age: Inquisition. He is a member of House Trevelyan. As the Mage-Templar War continued to ravage the world, Maxwell and several members of his family attended a summit hosted by the Chantry at Haven in the hopes of making peace between the Templars and mages
Cullen gets less content if you go with the Templars, because Corypheus' general is Calpernia instead of Samson. The romance isn't affected though, it's just the Samson parts. Conscripting the Templars without meeting Dorian first results in the least amount of disapproval among the Mage vs Templar options.
